Out of My Head – The App That’s Saving My Sanity

Happy Monday, Self Made Fam!

You ever feel like your brain is a browser with 47 tabs open—and at least 3 are frozen?

Yeah, that was me lately.....

I was chatting with my mom (she lives 8 hours away, so phone convos are a lifeline), and she gave me some advice I’ve heard a million times before: “Use post-it notes to track everything, then stick them to a wall so you can prioritize.”

Classic mom wisdom—and she’s not wrong. I do love me some post-its. But lately, I’ve been trying to bring more of my systems into the digital age.

That’s when I remembered the AnyList app.

Originally, I used it to keep my grocery list organized and stop myself from impulse-buying half the snack aisle. But then it hit me—why not make a list titled “Out of My Head”?

Now, anytime I get a thought like “write that blog,” “check that tech issue,” or “don’t forget the course update,” I just pop it into the list on my phone.

Whether I’m walking the dogs, making dinner, or waiting in line at the store—boom, it goes in the app. I can come back later to organize or prioritize, but at least it’s captured.

This one simple shift helped me massively declutter my mental space and finally feel more in control again.

So.... if your thoughts are swirling like a hurricane, I challenge you: make your own “Out of My Head” list today.

This is why I focus on building lists filled with people who are ready to invest in themselves. People who take action. People who are looking for solutions.

How do you do that?

✅ Start with small offers to attract buyers, not just freebie seekers
✅ Engage with your list daily — condition them to hear from you
✅ Offer real value consistently and build trust over time
