V#73 EDITION ~ July 6, 2026 |
There's a question I've been sitting with lately... |
Are you building something that sounds like you, or something that sounds like everyone else?
With AI tools everywhere, it's never been easier to create content. But "easy" and "effective" aren't the same thing.
This week, we're digging into two ideas that keep coming up in conversations:
Why your hook matters more than your headline. And why your email list might be the most undervalued asset in your business.
Let's get into it. |

WHAT'S ON THE RADAR |
Brand Consistency as Your Competitive Moat Here's something I'm noticing: with everyone using AI to create content, the ones standing out aren't the ones with the best prompts.
They're the ones with the most unmistakable voice.
When your content could have been written by anyone, readers scroll.
When your content could only have been written by you, they save.
What this means for you: Instead of chasing every new AI tool, focus on building a "brand prompt pack" — a set of rules and examples that keep your content sounding like you, even when AI is helping you write it.
Try this: Look at your last 5 posts. Could a stranger tell they all came from the same person? If not, you might have a consistency gap, not a content gap. |
If you've ever wondered whether your email list is actually worth growing, there's a number you should probably know. Learn why your email list is a business asset and how to start measuring its real value. Read More... |

Final Thoughts | ||
I keep coming back to this idea... clarity before speed.
It's tempting to chase every new tool, every trending format, every platform that promises growth. But the entrepreneurs I see building something real are the ones who slow down long enough to ask ~ Does this actually sound like me?
Your hook matters. Your list matters. But most of all, your voice matters.
The tools will keep changing. The platforms will keep shifting. But someone who knows what they sound like and who they're talking to? That's rare. That's valuable. That's worth building around.
Until Next week...
