🧩 Riddle Me This

I can’t be caught in a single trend,
But I grow stronger when you repeat me.
I’m simple, proven, and often overlooked.

With summer winding down, I’ve been spending more time on the back porch — and lately, the hummingbirds have been stealing the show.

We live right on the SC/GA line, so our place ends up being a pit stop for these little guys as they head south. And let me tell you — watching them is like catching the bird version of Speedy Gonzales on caffeine.

Here’s what I’ve noticed .... Even though the feeder has 8 different feeding flowers (plus there’s another feeder in the front yard!), there’s always that one bird who perches on top of the shepherd’s hook, acting like the bouncer at an exclusive club. He dives, swoops, and chases off the others like it’s his personal buffet.

But eventually, the rest of the hummingbirds push through. They keep at it, darting and dodging, until they finally get their taste of that sweet nectar.

And it hit me: business can feel the exact same way.

We look up and see the “big gurus” perched on the rails, acting like they own all the feeders - the clients, the sales, the opportunities. It can feel like there’s no room for the rest of us.

But the truth? There’s more than enough nectar to go around.

If you’re willing to stay persistent… keep showing up… and refuse to quit just because someone else looks like they’ve staked their claim, you’ll get your share.

The hummingbirds don’t give up. And neither should we.

Business, like that feeder, is overflowing. The only question is.... are you willing to keep flapping your wings until you find your spot?

Have you noticed how frantic everything feels online right now?

Everyone’s scrambling to keep up with the latest platform updates, algorithm changes, or AI tool that promises to “change everything.” But here’s the thing... while the noise gets louder, the smart creators I know are building simple systems that just work… and keep working.

These aren’t pie-in-the-sky ideas. They’re models that can carry you through the rest of 2025 (and beyond), and they don’t require a huge budget or a 60-hour workweek.

Here are five that are crushing it right now:

1. Free/Paid Newsletters (The Reliable Builder)
Newsletters aren’t dead. They’re one of the simplest ways to grow an audience you own and create consistent income streams.

2. Swipe Files (The Quick Win)
People are busy. They don’t want to reinvent the wheel - they want proven templates and examples. A good swipe file of subject lines, hooks, or scripts can pull in thousands with little upfront effort.

3. Micro-Courses (The Bite-Size Knowledge Drop)
Gone are the days of giant $997 courses. Today, people want focused, 60-90 minute trainings that solve one specific problem. Quick to create, quick to sell.

4. AI-Powered Coaching (The Next Big Thing)
Instead of worrying about AI replacing coaches, the best are using it to enhance their value - offering faster results and scaling their reach.

5. Community Building (The Recurring Revenue Engine)
People are craving belonging. Whether it’s $10/month for a group or $2,000/month for a mastermind, community is where long-term revenue and transformation live.

👉 My challenge to you - don’t try to do them all. Pick ONE or maybe TWO.

• Newsletter → if you love writing.

• Swipe File → if you love spotting patterns.

• Micro-Course → if you can teach a skill fast.

• AI Coaching → if you thrive on transformation.

• Community → if you’re a natural connector.

Then block 2 hours this week to build your MVP.

Don’t wait for January. The ones who win are the ones who start now and improve along the way.
