The Mystery Traffic Jam That Made Me Think…

Happy Monday and Happy December, my friend. 💚
I hope you had a wonderful holiday.

We made the 9-hour trip up north to see family which always sounds easier than it actually is.

The drive up? Smooth. Quick. The kind of drive where every light is green and the road is wide open.

The drive back?

Yeah… no. 😂

We left Saturday thinking we were being smart - “Let’s beat the traffic!” Famous last words. 

About four hours in, everything slowed… then crawled… then stopped. Then crawled again. Then stopped again. It was that classic holiday traffic rhythm that makes you question your life choices, your patience, and whether you packed enough snacks for survival.

But here’s the part that got me:

When we finally broke free and started moving normally again, I kept looking around wondering… 

“What caused all that? Where’s the accident? Where’s the construction? What was the hold-up?”

And of course... there was nothing.

No wreck. No hazard. No reason. Just… mystery traffic.

And it hit me:

Most people’s business looks exactly like that.

They’re not broken.
They’re not failing.
They’re not behind.
They’re just stuck in mystery traffic.

Slowed down by:

• overthinking

• second-guessing

• too many ideas

• too many directions

• trying to force perfection

• or comparing their pace to someone else’s highway

There’s no “accident.” 

Nothing is wrong. They’re just stuck.

And when clarity hits - when the road opens - you move fast again.

So this week? Let’s get you out of the business traffic jam.

The Real Reason You Feel Stuck

Here’s the truth nobody tells you:

You’re not stuck because you’re doing it wrong.

You’re stuck because you’re surrounded by invisible traffic.

That kind of traffic looks like:

• Too many ideas buzzing at once

• Chasing every “should” you see online

• Trying to write flawless content

• Switching lanes (or niches) every five minutes

• Comparing your speed to someone else’s

• Feeling like you need the perfect plan before you move

And just like real traffic?

Most of it isn’t caused by anything real.

It’s caused by uncertainty.

Foggy direction.
Mental clutter.
Lack of clarity.

Clarity is the thing that gets you moving again.

Not motivation.
Not more tools.
Not bigger goals.

Just clarity.

This week, I want you to clear the road so you can finally drive again.

❌ the version you “should” sound like
❌ the version the algorithm demands
❌ the version that feels forced

Just you.
Clear. Connected. Purpose-driven.

If you want to reset your direction and your content this week, start with these five questions:

1️⃣ Who is the ONE person I help?
2️⃣ What problem do they have today (not someday, TODAY)?
3️⃣ What story from my life would help them breathe easier?
4️⃣ What truth have I learned that could guide them forward?
5️⃣ What’s one tiny action they can take right now?

Clarity doesn’t show up before you move.
Business moves when YOU move.

Not when everything is perfect.
Not when the plan is flawless.
Not when you “feel ready.”

Just… when you move.

Final Thoughts

This week, give yourself room to breathe.

Clear the noise.
Focus on one person.
Let clarity lead again.
And remember...  if you feel stuck, it doesn’t mean something’s wrong.

It just means the road is about to open up.
