V#49 EDITION ~ December 15th, 2025 

I Hit the Lottery…

So… I hit the lottery this weekend.

Saturday night around 11:30, I was scrolling Facebook and saw a post that said: "Check your number for the $1 Billion Powerball.”

My heart skipped a beat.

The first number posted was "1"… and I froze because I remembered the first number on my ticket was also "1".

I ran out to the garage, opened the car door, flipped down the visor and grabbed the ticket.

That moment? Pure adrenaline.

I started checking the numbers…

And then reality hit.

Yes… I hit the lottery.
I matched the "1".
I just needed five more numbers to go with it. LOL

Heart sunk. Big sigh. Back to reality.

But here’s the thing... those few seconds of possibility?

That dopamine hit?
That “what if?” feeling?

It stuck with me.

Because it’s the same thing we do in online business sometimes - we chase the big win.

The big launch. The big viral moment. The big number.

But the real win is different ~ If you’re building something real, you’d still work on even if it didn’t pay you… you’ve already won.

I didn’t hit the billion-dollar Powerball this week…
(Though hey… next week is $1.10 billion 😄)

But building my online business? I'm incorporating that big win into it....That still feels like winning the lottery every day.

Because I’d do it even if it didn’t pay me a dime... And that mindset changes everything.

Year-End Reflection Time

Time’s flying.

Before the year wraps up, I want to ask you something simple:

👉 What’s one skill you’d like to learn or strengthen before the end of December?

• writing content more confidently

• building consistency

Final Thoughts

Winning doesn’t always look like a big check or a viral moment.

Sometimes it looks like showing up again.

Learning one more skill.
Helping one more person.
Staying in the game when the numbers don’t wow you yet.

If what you’re building still excites you - even on the quiet days - you’re doing something right.

Keep going.
Your “lottery win” might not be instant… but it’s compounding every single day.
