🎓 A Big Week for Our Family (And a Lesson in Taking Big Steps)

Happy Monday! Hope you had a fantastic weekend.

This week is extra special in our household—our daughter is graduating from high school on Thursday! 🎉 We are beyond proud of her and all the hard work, growth, and determination that’s brought her to this moment. It feels like just yesterday we were helping her with her ABCs, and now we’re preparing to watch her walk across the stage and start a new chapter on her journey to become a veterinarian.

Milestones like these always make me pause and reflect.

We’re so excited for her future because she’s doing something that matters to her—something she’s passionate about. And isn’t that what we’re all trying to do? Whether it’s raising a family, building a business, or chasing a dream, we each have a path to follow, and every step matters.

Watching her get to this point reminded me of how building an online business is a lot like going through school. You don't start out knowing everything. You show up, learn a little at a time, and take imperfect action along the way. You study. You mess up. You get back up. But most importantly—you keep going.

Your breakthrough might not come with a cap and gown, but every small win you achieve—every new subscriber, every piece of content, every course you finish—is part of YOUR graduation story. So whatever stage you’re at, keep going. Celebrate how far you’ve come.

Just like our daughter took the leap toward her dream of graduating and now wanting to become a vet, I encourage you to lean into the next step of your dream too. You never know how far it will take you—but I promise, it’s worth the journey.

🏀 The Michael Jordan Meeting That Almost Didn’t Happen (And Why You Should Show Up)

Let me tell you a story about a man named… Michael Jordan. Maybe you’ve heard of him? 😉

But here’s what you might not know:

Back when MJ was just a rising star, Nike wanted to meet with him for an endorsement opportunity. Only one problem—Michael didn’t want to go. He wasn’t interested in going to meet Nike. He had his eye on Adidas or Converse. Nike wasn’t “cool” yet, and he didn’t think it was worth his time.

His parents stepped in and practically forced him to take the meeting. They told him to put on a suit, get on the plane, and just hear them out.

That meeting? It led to his first endorsement deal—worth $2 million.

And the rest is sneaker history.

That story hit me hard when I first heard it. Because how many of us talk ourselves out of opportunities that might just change everything?
